Bread for the World Webinar

BFW has to be known for its nonpartisan political activity for the hungry. This is an organization where Bob Dole and George McGovern were both active.

Times are changing and few organizations are being able to maintain their nonpartisan status. I sensed the growing stress during a recent webinar for the hungry.

With so much partisanship these days, I hope BFW can keep its balance.

The president of Bread is a Lutheran pastor who has announced his retirement in the near future.
