If I were still in San Antonio, Austin, or Houston, I would think the overwhelming defeat of the recent bond election would mean the elected school board members are out of touch with their constituents and in danger of being defeated in the next election. I am learning bond election defeats are common in the valley and are to be expected. I look forward to learning more about local politics.
