First Monthly Transitional Ministry Report Submitted

Though transitional pastors are encouraged to submit monthly reports to the synod on how they are progressing through transitional ministry, I actually sent in my first report only today. I have been making lots of oral reports though.

I mentioned our individual interviews, efforts to update the constitution, the planned book study this fall, efforts to reach out to Trinity Lutheran of Mission, and our vitality surveys. I was reminded of several changes we are not doing yet, such as restructuring council meetings to focus more on prayer, Bible study, and missional training. We have also not addressed stewardship intensely for several months.

I plan to be more regular in making these reports.
