God's Work Our Hands Thank You
Many thanks to all who planned and worked at the last two days of God's Work Our Hands activities at First Lutheran. I drove by the church today from the south after visiting a shut in member and the premises looked fresh and appealing. I also greatly enjoyed singing the new hymn for the day this morning at worship.
In my sermon today, I suggested some other things which might be done at GWOH Sunday in the future. Each congregation celebrates the day in different ways and I encourage this congregation to be creative
I hope people will not get the idea service is only for one day a year. I encourage you to continue the spirit of the day as you continue to find ways to serve in the coming year.
