History Lecture in Fellowship Hall

I enjoyed an interesting lecture about the relationship between Mexican-Americans and the Texas Rangers about a century ago. I learned all of my history in public schools from Anglos. When I went to Costa Rica a couple years ago, I had the chance to learn American history through other eyes. History has a variety of perspectives.


At the lecture, I learned First Lutheran Church was a sanctuary congregation during the 1980s. I look forward to learning more about that part of the congregation's history.
