Invitation to Pr. Judith Spindt Withdrawn

Pr. Spindt forwarded to me today an email in which the council of Trinity in Mission asked her to postpone her weekend in the valley from August to October or November so more members (I suspect Winter Texans) can be present. I had asked the people of First to hold open the first weekend in August for conversations on cooperative ministry.


I have a call into Pr. Spindt to discuss what next steps we might pursue in the next several months. Neither of us wants to lose the momentum which appeared to be developing.


I have not heard yet about the proposed potluck later this month. I encourage you to watch this bog for later developments.


At least now First members will be able to attend the concert planned for our sanctuary the first Sunday in August.
