My First Summer in the Rio Grande Valley

I am now experiencing how much life and activity slow down during the middle of summer here. For now, immigration concerns are taking some of my time that I spent on congregational concerns during the winter.

I have plans if the slower pace of work continues. I brought my Spanish workbook from my two immersion experiences in Costa Rica and plan to start reviewing my workbook to help me become more proficient in Spanish so I can speak with more people in the valley. Hablen Sie Espanol?
