Put the Protest Back into Protestant
Voting members of the ELCA church wide assembly marched in Milwaukee this past week about immigration reform. This phrase was used on some of the protest signs.
I was taught to call Lutherans reformers, not Protestants, because Protestant used to mean anyone who is not Catholic. Times have changed and Lutherans appear to want to be called Protestant again.
Do you prefer being called a reformer or a Protestant?
