Reformed Churches Sign the Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification

The historic agreement between Lutherans and Catholics signed in 1999 continues to gather more adherents. Methodists agreed to the statement in 2007, Anglicans (Episcopalians) agreed to the statement in 2017, and recently the Reformed (Presbyterians) also signed. These churches now agree the major issues leading to the Protestant Reformation no longer divide us.


The major division among Christians in America is no longer between Catholics and Protestants but between conservative evangelicals and mainline Protestants and other progressive religious groups.
