The Growth of the Interfaith Welcome Coalition

The mass migration across the border began in the summer of 2014 and I attended the initial meeting of the San Antonio group which became the Interfaith Welcome Coalition. From that initial meeting of a few dozen, the group has grown now to include over 2,200 people with varying levels of commitment. The group is made up of volunteers, donors, and compassionate citizens. I have served on the advocacy committee of the IWC since 2014 and hope to meet with the group this Thursday.
