What Is an Echo Event?

As I understand it, an echo event is a local event held when people cannot easily attend the main event, especially when the main event is far away. When the ELCA had its march on the ICE facility in Milwaukee, other communities held similar events with the ICE facilities in their communities. I thought I might be asked to have some kind of event in the valley but was not.

Today it is not uncommon to have several hundred echo events on several continents at the same time around a specific issue.
