I received a suggestion we have a prayer vigil at First in light of the mass murders this weekend but I decided not to organize anything. Christians and some politicians are being accused of praying but doing little else in these situations and that criticism occurred again this time. "Thoughts and prayers" are ridiculed more than respected by many these days. It is time to try something else.
