The closing worship for my Courts and Ports event took place in this beautiful sanctuary. People from a variety of denominations were able to commune together and we were given bags of soil from the border to remind us refugees make the soil here sacred.

Both Bishop Eaton and Bishop Briner have suggested congregations not have remote or virtual Holy Communion services. I suggest First Lutheran abide by this advice and not have Holy Communion services
