Things you might want to know if you are planning a visit to FLC:
- What is it like?
- We are a litrugical church with a traditional style of worship. We follow the revised common lectionary, and we typically have either piano or organ music playing the hymns and litrugical music from the Evangelical Lutheran Worship Book.
- We do celebrate Holy Communion every Sunday, and anyone who wishes to partake of communion is more than welcome to do so.
- What about my kids?
- Kids are most certainly welcome!
- We do not offer children's church or any separate worship experience for kids. We encourage and invite children to stay in the worship space with their adults. We have a little "cry room" in the back of the sanctuary that has a few toys, books and coloring things if entertainment for the little ones is needed.
- During the school year, we offer Sunday School before church at 9am for children 3yrs old up until the 6th grade when they become confirmation age.
- Where do I park?
- We are not picky about parking here. We offer space in front of our fellowship hall building as well as the south side of our sanctuary building.
- What do I wear?
- Please feel free to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident. We have some that dress to the nines, some that wear jeans with a tshirt and everything in between. It's not the clothes that we care about, it's the person in them.
- How can I get connected?
- There are many ways to get connected. Coming to worship with us or giving our church office a quick phone call is an easy first step.
